We don’t know if this is the worst case, but it is something we’ve seen casino game studios do a lot. And that takes a name that people will recognise and then stick totally different mechanic underneath it.

I said minimal because that’s how it starts. Don’t walk away just yet, as if it wasn’t possible to get some bigger wins, we certainly wouldn’t have given this mobile slot review 3 stars.
How the Jam Jars wild works and the avalanching reels:
The Jam Jars in this Jammin Jars mobile slot game are the stars of the show.
That’s because they are the wild symbols and (more importantly) when they are part of a winning combination, start to increase their multiplier.
So after one win, they have a 2x multiplier, three wins a 3x multiplier and so on.
But how do you get more than one win? Simple, the Jammin Jars online slot has cascading reels; so after any win, the symbols explode and more fall from above.
The wild never disappears. As long as the wild keeps being involved in winning combos, it will wander around the screen after each spin.

We doubt you’ll get more than one or two wins with a wild symbol in the base game.
In fact, the wilds are so rare in the base game, you can’t help but feel a little cheated about the name of this Push Gaming fruit slot.

Here’s the problem – so far all you’ve heard is talk about is those wild symbols.
And that’s because, without them, this casino slot doesn’t have the standard big fruit machine wins you might expect. It certainly doesn’t have the intricate features of other grid slots like Rise of Olympus or Sweet Alchemy game by Play’n GO.
It’s got wilds. That walk. With multipliers.
Granted, every once in a while a giant rainbow will give you a few mega symbols, but even that doesn’t bring in the wins like the wilds and multipliers.

Win All Ways: Any clusters of 5 or more symbol touching either horizontally or vertically will create a win.
Collapsing Reels: Any winning symbols will explode, with more symbols cascading down from above, giving you a second chance at more wins.
The Walking Wild: The Jam Jar is the wild symbol. If he is not used in a win, it will disappear in the following spin.
However, if it is used to create a cluster of 5 or more symbols, this wild will now move to an adjacent space and the multiplier will increase by 1.
It will disappear when it is no longer part of a cluster of wins.
Free Spin Bonus Round: 3 Jam Jars in view during the base game will trigger the free spin bonus round.
The difference here is that the wild jam jar won't disappear if they are not in use and will keep wandering around the screen on each spin.
If they are part of a win, however, their multiplier increases and doesn't go down. So if its part of multiple cascading wins, we've seen the multiplier on the wild increase to 12x - could it go higher? We suspect so.
Rainbow Feature: Randomly triggered in the middle of any spin, the reel will fill with rainbow colours and add one more giant fruit symbols. One mega fruit symbol covers at least a cluster of 6 - get multiple of these mega symbols for big wins.
Jammin Jars Review Conclusion
There's a lot to like about this Jammin Jars slot on mobile.
It's colourful, it's funny, there's some great rainbow coloured graphics that give you glorious mega symbols.
The reason why it only gets 4 stars is that you are far too dependent on those wild symbols and the multipliers to create wins worth your while.
You need to make clusters of 8 to 11 symbols with the lowest paying fruits to get anywhere close to your bet back.
And it's not like these avalanching reels are constantly giving you little wins constantly either, or many wild symbols for that matter. But when it does decide to pay, it can be pretty fantastic as you can expect from a volatile machine.
When you compare it to something like the Emoji Planet phone slot, or even Moon Princess by Play'n GO, you can't help but think that these grid games are a little more refined.
But do you care when you are getting top wins of close to 20,000 times your bet? Probably not.
